- Perform comprehensive assessments, screening and diagnose patients within the full scope of practice as defined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (“CPSO”)
- Carry out tests, including, but not limited to, such as echocardiograms, stress tests and Holter monitoring, and interpret test results.
- Develop, oversee and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medication, lifestyle counseling, and referring patients to other clinicians for further consultation and testing as required.
- Empower patients and families with knowledge about their conditions, treatment options, and effective self-management strategies.
- Adhere to and promote evidence-based practices, standards of best-practice and clinical safety standards.
- Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating and liaising closely with colleagues.
- Attend clinical management meetings.
- Perform other duties assigned that are reasonable with the scope of practice.
- MD with fellowship training and experience in non-invasive Cardiology.
- Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) is preferred.
- Physicians with RCPSC Approved Jurisdiction eligibility may be eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO, so will also be considered.
- Physicians that have successfully completed the RCPSC specialty examination via the RCPSC Practice Eligibility Route and hold the MCCQE1 exam may be eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO, so will also be considered.
- American Board Certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license with the CPSO, so will also be considered.
- Licensing, or eligibility for licensing, by the provincial or territorial licensing authority (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) is required.
- No Attending Physician experience is necessary.
- Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply.

- Ability to collaborate with health care staff, patients and their families.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Relocation allowance.
- Supervision available.
- No on-call work and no weekend work.
- Fee-for-service split with earning potential of approximately $700,000 - $850,000 per year.
