Job DescriptionIntermediate Civil CAD DesignerAtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups. We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.Location – Mississauga, ONYour role within the team:Typical duties and essential functions will include but not be limited to the preparation, design, modification, coordination, and/or review of the following:
  • Prepare models and drawings in Tekla, AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
  • Follow client driven file management system for document storage.
  • Prepare engineering deliverables for both nuclear and conventional systems in accordance with AtkinsRéalis Nuclear Inc. / Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements.
  • Apply relevant Codes & Standards and regulatory requirements and coordinate with design team to ensure the compliances.
  • Interface with Engineering teams, throughout the lifecycle of the design project (i.e., from preliminary and conceptual engineering to detailed design, implementation and close-out) to provide practical and effective solutions as per requirements.
