- Responsible to monitor all aspects of the Work to ensure line management is meeting the Quality requirements as required by the applicable standards, codes, Black & McDonald and Client quality program when applicable
- Ensures compliance with Client FME program
- Is the quality conscience for the SCT
- Perform work activities in a safe manner and in compliance with Black and McDonald Safety Program and those of our customers
- Perform receipt, in process and final inspection and test activities including maintaining accurate inspection and test status of items
- Interface with Regulatory Authorities
- Perform special process monitoring activities
- Ensuring correctness of Work Sign-off activities as related to inspection and test activities
- Aid with the implementation of the Quality Management System and Programs within PGR
- Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan(s) unless provided by client
- Coordination for Project QC activities, including interfaces with outside organizations (subcontractors)
- Liaison with Pressure Boundary jurisdiction
- Authorization of Inspection and Test Plan(s)\Ensuring the preparation of the Manufacturer's Data Reports
- Supervision of QC Inspectors
- Verification, control and accepting dispositions of nonconformance's
- Verification of Black & McDonald Event Reports (BMR) by direct reports
- Accurate and timely verification of inspections and tests shown in the Inspection and Tests plans or as otherwise assigned by the QA Manager
- Documentation of the results of the inspections and tests as required
- Ensure proper use and safe handling of measure and test equipment, including recording where used

- Minimum of 2 years College or University in a technical related discipline or related experience
- Minimum of 10 years construction trades experience and:
- Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience including experience in non-conformance control, corrective action process and inspection and test plan generation
- Experience in nuclear industry considered an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of Codes and Standards
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Computer Literacy; Microsoft Office programs
- Must be motivated, self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to work with deadlines.
