Sr. Network Engineer
Vaughan, Ontario, Canada | Full-Time, 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (Monthly Office Attendance Required)Hourly Rate: $90-$93/hour (Inc)About the RoleThe Sr. Network Engineer is a key technical resource responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the corporate network infrastructure. This role leverages deep expertise in networking technologies, cloud platforms, and security protocols to ensure reliable and secure operations. The Sr. Network Engineer will work as part of a nation-wide technical team, contributing to network projects, troubleshooting advanced issues, and implementing modern network solutions across multiple environments.Leadership & Operations
  • Administer and support Palo Alto Networks infrastructure, including project implementations
  • Manage Cisco routing and switching infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability
  • Configure and maintain F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and efficient traffic distribution
  • Implement and manage Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) solutions
  • Configure and maintain Azure network services, including virtual networks, VPN gateways, and ExpressRoute connections
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure service reliability
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve network infrastructure
Training & Professional Development
  • Provide guidance on advanced network design and architecture within the organization
  • Share knowledge across the team to ensure consistent, standardized practices and documentation
What You’ll Need
  • 6–7+ years of experience in network consulting and administration services
  • Cisco SD-WAN configuration and deployment, including WAN edge routers using vManage, vBond, and vSmart
  • Policy definition and traffic engineering for app-aware routing, segmentation, ACLs, QoS, BFD path monitoring, and TLOC preferences
  • Prisma Access integration and Remote Network IPsec tunnels with BGP route exchange
  • Palo Alto firewall policies configuration experience
  • Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud network management experience
  • Infoblox DNS/DHCP services management
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $93.22/hour (inclusive).
