
Manager – Audit, Financial Compliance (IT)

- Leadership and Team Development: Supervise and mentor the audit team, provide training and development opportunities, evaluate their performance and provide feedback.
- Strategic Planning and Coordination: Determine the audit scope and develop the audit schedule. Allocate resources and assign tasks to audit team members.
- Audits: Lead and oversee the execution of audits. Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with established regulations and framework.
- Continuous Framework Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the audit framework and methodologies. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the audit team and the organization.
- Ensure Compliance: Stay informed of changes in laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization's compliance.
- Evaluation and Reporting: Analyze audit findings and identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders. Recommend corrective actions and improvements to internal controls.
- Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships with external auditors, IT and Business teams. Foster a culture of collaboration and robust internal controls environment.
- Relevant Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in IT and Financial Compliance audits in a Big Four or the Industry.
- Technical Skills: Extensive understanding of NI52-109 and/or Sox, IT General Controls (ITGC), auditing standards and procedures, accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Data Analytics: Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI, DAX, SQL, SAS, Python and Excel. Ability to interpret complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Leadership: Capability to lead and manage a team of auditors, providing clear explanations, guidance and motivation.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and individuals across various departments and hierarchical levels.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and convince stakeholders to implement necessary changes for financial compliance.
- Big Picture Thinking: Ability to identify and understand non-obvious links between applications, departments and processes and how they can impact each other. Align audit activities with objectives and prioritize them based on the risk and potential impact on Financial Compliance activities.

- Bilingual Proficiency: Advanced professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
