This role is ideal for a professional engineer who is eager to work on diverse and impactful projects within a supportive and dynamic team environment.some typical projects you will work on;
  • Replacement and upgrade of underground water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure
  • Development of water treatment and pumping facilities
  • Wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment facilities
  • Infrastructure assessments and studies

Learn more about the role !Your main responsibilitiesOversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completionPerform design, construction site inspections, and contract administration dutiesDevelop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documentsConduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standardsLiaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project successCoordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplinesProvide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists * Apply and promote health and safety rules and comply with MPE's quality procedures.What makes you uniqueB.Sc. in Civil Engineering and membership with APEGAMinimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in construction observation and contract administrationWorking knowledge of water and wastewater distribution and collection systemsProficiency in computer software for modelling and spreadsheet analysisDemonstrated aptitude for general construction methodsStrong business acumen and understanding of municipal infrastructure projectsProven ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphereSelf-motivated with leadership potentialExcellent verbal and written communication skillWhat makes Englobe uniqueAt Englobe, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects of every size and scope.
