Description- Design and implement C++ modules for robotic control, navigation, and sensor integration.- Optimize algorithms for performance, reliability, and real-time responsiveness in safety and mission critical environments.- Collaborate with test engineers to ensure code quality through unit tests (Google Test Framework) and integration testing.- Develop reusable libraries and APIs to support modularity and scalability of the PATH suite.- Integrate software components with hardware interfaces, middleware, and robotic platforms.- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in C++ development.- Contribute to system-level design discussions and provide input on architecture decisions.- Document software designs, interfaces, and workflows for internal and external stakeholders.Top Skills Detailssoftware development,C++,Linux,Git,software designAdditional Skills & Qualifications- Object Oriented C++ (modern)- Linux- Design experience (Boost, STL, etc.)- Unit Testing- Full SDLC- Multithreaded programming Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nepean, ON.
