Become part of the action!As the Operational Excellence Director, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the Global Operations organization. You will play key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will coach and mentor operations and supply chain teams to drive performance improvements. You will also be responsible for driving KPI definition and performance measurement, establishing and driving a Lean and Six Sigma certification program, and acting as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement.Responsibilities:
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor operations teams to drive performance improvements by providing training and development opportunities to the operations teams to help them build their skills and knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Establish Operations balanced score card, Drive KPI definition and own the Global Operations performance measurement.
  • Drive a multi-tier operations performance meeting structure.
  • Establish, own, and drive a Lean and Six Sigma certification program and act as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support teams to identify opportunities for COGs improvements and drive COGs reduction portfolio of projects.
  • Drive waste reduction and systematically increase productivity through LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on change over time management and OEE uplift
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor and strategic partner in the identification and execution of LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives. Effectively communicate and drive change to support the development of and the transformation to a LEAN culture.
  • Lead the identification and selection of new OpEx champions from across the organization.
  • Remain current with changes and advancements in LEAN/ Continuous Improvement methodologies and recommend their introduction where appropriate.
  • Support operations teams to be a high performing team through supporting performance conversations with project teams, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with employees, business partners, and direct leaders by utilizing open, honest, two-way communication. Continuously improve leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Strong presentation skills to facilitate large employee meetings and briefings with senior leadership.
  • Proven strong organizational, and project management skills.
  • Good knowledge in French (oral & written)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A self-starter, work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of GMP.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management.
  • LEAN Black Belt/ LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt qualification a definite asset and/or training and qualification in other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Education : BachelorExperience : 0 years: Experience in leading and facilitating team events.
10 years: 5-10 years of progressive business experience, successfully leading multiple LEAN/Continuous Improvement projects and demonstrating leadership
