Part of the Pfaff Automotive group, now in partnership with North America’s largest automotive retailer, Lithia and Driveway, it’s your chance to work for a Fortune 500 company and grow with us!If you take pride in transforming vehicles to look their best, this role is the right fit for you!Here’s What You’ll be Doing:Washes vehicle exterior cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambs.Assist with lot maintenance.Processes cars for pre-wash and interior protection.Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces as required.Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.Cleans interior leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals as required.Cleans engine and engine compartment with various cleaning agents.Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer’s recommendations.Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation and reports to the Manager.Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials as required.Responsible for the quality check after final clean.Communicates with CSR on final detail for delivery.Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.Performs other duties as required by the Body Shop Manager.Skills and QualificationsExperience in automotive field.1-2 years of detailing experience is an asset.Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.Ability to drive manual transmission is an asset.Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.Why Work For Pfaff?Competitive CompensationHealth Benefits – full-time employees have access to health, dental, long-term disability and life insurance.Vacation and Paid Time OffTrack Days and EventsGrowth Potential – we want to support your success!
