- Drive Business Growth: Deliver revenue, profit, and share growth across assigned accounts by identifying opportunities, expanding distribution, and executing strategic selling plans
- Lead Joint Business Planning: Develop and execute annual and multi-year account plans aligned to both customer and Mattel objectives
- Customer Leadership: Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with key stakeholders, positioning Mattel as a trusted partner of choice
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage POS, shipment, and market data to generate insights, inform forecasts, and guide strategic recommendations
- Strategic Execution: Translate plans into action through effective promotional strategies, assortment planning, pricing, and in-store/online execution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and flawless execution
- Forecasting & Planning: Own demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize in-stock performance and minimize risk
- Trade & Budget Management: Manage trade investment and O&A budgets with a strong focus on ROI and financial discipline
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day account management including order management, item setup, reporting, and issue resolution
- Business Reviews & Presentations: Lead regular customer meetings and internal reviews with clear insights, action plans, and follow-through
- Continuous Improvement: Identify new ways to enhance performance, processes, and partnerships to unlock incremental growth
- 5+ years of sales or account management experience in CPG, retail, or consumer goods; national account experience preferred
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and turning data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead negotiations across multiple levels
- Experience managing both brick-and-mortar and eCommerce channels; Experience in the toy or broader entertainment industry is an asset
- Highly organized, collaborative, and adaptable in fast-paced environments; strong Excel and presentation skills
