Work location: 2415 Chem. Tourville, Saint-Nicéphore, QC J2A 3Y4, CanadaAs an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work under the direction of the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service-all while making sure company goals are met.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Being actively present in the yard to supervise and participate in operations, in an environment that can be outdoor, physical, and dirty;
- Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;
- Enforcing environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures;
- Assisting the Branch Manager with monthly Health & Safety audits;
- Supervising daily operations such as scheduling, sales, and production targets;
- Supporting employees by taking part in daily tasks and operational initiatives on the ground;
- Assisting the Branch Manager with employee communication;
- Working closely with various partners to monitor and apply business processes;
- Conducting, alongside the Branch Manager, quarterly evaluations of hourly employees;
- Performing various administrative tasks (cash deposits, payroll, scheduling, etc.);
- Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees;
- Acting as an ambassador during organizational changes and playing an active role in their implementation at your branch.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service;
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a management role;
- College or university degree;
- Experience in retail or the automotive industry is an asset;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
