- Sales Strategy & Performance Leadership:
o Lead quarterly and annual sales planning initiatives to optimize territory performance and market share growth.
- Team Development & Leadership:
o Conduct regular performance reviews, sales meetings, and development planning to ensure continuous improvement and engagement.
- Market & Customer Development:
o Identify new market segments and growth opportunities through competitive analysis, industry awareness, and strategic account development.
- Operational & Financial Oversight:
o Collaborate with Credit Services and Operations to manage receivables, forecasting accuracy, and overall financial performance.
- Brand & Industry Representation:
o Represent the organization at trade shows, conventions, and industry events while reinforcing consistent brand messaging.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
o 7+ years of direct sales experience or 3-5 years in a sales management capacity, preferably within heavy equipment, transportation, or related industries.
- Technical Skills:
o Experience managing inventory strategy, pricing structures, and CRM/reporting systems is an asset.
- Key Competencies:
o Excellent relationship-building capabilities with customers, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
o Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
