We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Shop Supervisors, Technicians, Project Managers, Repairs Product Group technical support, and the Global Repairs Quality Manager. Team members are located across various Canadian service locations.What you'll do:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Service Center's Quality Management System in alignment with global standards.
- Plan, perform, and document inspections, work packages, quality checks, and technical reporting for internal and third-party repairs.
- Build and lead the Repairs QA/QC function, ensuring inspectors and technical personnel maintain high competency levels.
- Review nonconformances and customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including lean practices, 5S, and standardized work.
- Oversee safe and profitable repair order execution from quotation through invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate workflow.
- Manage SAP repair item creation, quotations, parts ordering, tracking, and financial reconciliation.
- Coordinate repair resources, customer communication, and operational support to enable on-time and on-budget repair completion.
- You bring a degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- You have 4-5 years of experience in QA/QC, repairs coordination, or similar operational roles.
- You are knowledgeable about industry QA/QC practices, standards, compliance requirements, and audit methodologies.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- You demonstrate strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities across technical and non-technical groups.
- You are proficient with SAP, Salesforce, RMS, and MS Office tools.
- You excel in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Nice to have: Auditor or Lead Auditor certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), bilingualism (English/French), and experience with repair activities such as machining, welding, or assembly.
