- Read diagrams and schematics to determine work procedures
- Install and assemble industrial machinery using hand and power tools
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools (lathes, grinders) to fabricate parts
- Perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication
- Construct foundations for machinery
- Train new hires and apprentices
- Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Health & Safety Systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree or Trade School Certification
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics
- Welding experience is an asset
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in mathematics
- Indoor work environment with varying noise and temperature levels
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and crawling
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
