Join Our Team as an Industrial Maintenance Millwright at Johnson Electric!Location: Stratford, ON (onsite)Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:As our next Industrial Maintenance Millwright you’ll be responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Read diagrams and schematics to determine work procedures
  • Install and assemble industrial machinery using hand and power tools
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for irregularities and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts
  • Operate machine tools (lathes, grinders) to fabricate parts
  • Perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication
  • Construct foundations for machinery
  • Train new hires and apprentices
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Health & Safety Systems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree or Trade School Certification
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Welding experience is an asset
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in mathematics
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Indoor work environment with varying noise and temperature levels
  • Physically demanding tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and crawling
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
