We are currently searching for a Process Mechanical Engineer in our Calgary office.The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on water and wastewater projects throughout Alberta. You will be working on water supply, water and wastewater treatment, reservoirs, lift stations, and pumping station projects for public and private sector clients. You will participate in studies, process modeling and analysis, assessments, reports, hydraulic analysis, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimating, development of specifications and contract documents, tendering, and construction management.This position has excellent opportunities for mentorship and advancement through exposure to process design, advanced fluid dynamics, hydraulic transient analysis, computational fluid dynamics, and commissioning of systems.As the ideal candidate, you are an excellent communicator with effective organizational skills and leadership potential, who thrives in a dynamic work environment. Job RequirementsWhat you will bring:
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • 5-10 years experience in preliminary and detailed process design and construction management on water projects, focusing on water/wastewater treatment and pumping design.
  • Strong written and oral communication, and coordination skills.
  • Experience in the consulting environment is an asset.
  • Committed team player.
  • Valid driver's license.
