Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. Your expertise will directly contribute to operational uptime and a strong safety culture.As part of our team you willPromote and uphold full compliance with the Electrical Safety ProgramPerform routine maintenance on underground fixed plant and mobile equipmentInspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and componentsRead and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsInstall and maintain power distribution systems and control panelsConduct system testing and preventative maintenanceSupport equipment availability by identifying and resolving electrical issuesCommunicate electrical status updates with supervisors and operations teamsMaintain accurate documentation and work recordsCollaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Health & Safety teamsPrerequisites for your success in this roleInterprovincial Red Seal Electrician certificationMinimum 5+ years of maintenance experienceMinimum 3+ years of underground mining experienceStrong knowledge of BC Mines Act & Regulations and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC, M421, Z462)Experience supporting underground production and development equipmentStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsCommitment to safety and ability to work effectively in a team environmentPhysically able to work underground, including lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to work 12-hour rotational shifts at a remote siteAbility to pass pre-employment medical, fitness-for-duty, and drug & alcohol testingYour work environmentRemote, camp-based setting at Brucejack Mine13 days on / 13 days off rotation (with travel days)Rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nightsUnderground mining environment requiring full PPECollaborative work across Maintenance and Underground OperationsIf you feel that you could make a meaningful contribution in this role, we encourage you to discuss this opportunity with your current people leader and how it aligns with your longer term career goals.
