About the PositionATS Traffic has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join our business as a Co-op Student! Working closely with our Corporate Estimating and Project Management Team! We seek students who are ambitious, willing to learn and happy to work in a team environment.Our ideal candidate is a positive team player with superior organizational skills. You will utilize school theory along with your soft skills to support our team and assist in developing structured process and procedures. Participate in structured and on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Project Estimator role. Training activities may include:

Researching provincial specifications to ensure regulatory compliance during project execution.
Performing detailed quantity take-offs and preparing accurate estimates for both direct and indirect project costs.
Responding to pricing inquiries and requests for clarification.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to support estimating activities and project planning efforts.
Help with the Identification, evaluation, and tracking of tender opportunities, as well as assist with the preparation and submission of bid proposals.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with assignments aimed at enhancing internal processes and tools.

Qualifications:Complete 2 or more years of Construction Technology or Engineering Program, such as: Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management.

Experience using Bluebeam
Proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint
Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel
