This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely customer quotations by reviewing technical data, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or technical environment—preferably within the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry - and demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer focus.On-the-job training is available for candidates who demonstrate the aptitude and willingness to learn how to interpret fabrication drawings, Gerber files, and customer specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical documentationPrepare detailed and accurate quotations in response to customer RFQsEnsure quotes align with established pricing strategies and internal costing dataRespond promptly to customer inquiries to support on-time quote delivery and customer satisfactionCommunicate with customers to clarify specifications, lead times, and technical requirements as neededMaintain and update customer profiles and records within internal systemsCollaborate with Production Planning, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Engineering to validate quotation inputsSupport Customer Service and Pre-Engineering teams as requiredParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quotation tools, processes, and workflowsPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical skills with strong attention to detailAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, or product documentationProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; technical aptitude with internal systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPositive, collaborative team-oriented mindsetAbility to read, write, and communicate in English as required for the roleEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or College Diploma, or equivalent technical experienceExperience interpreting technical drawings or specifications requiredPrevious experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing is considered an assetAdditional InformationThis position requires regular attendance and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely quotation delivery.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities or qualifications.
