Drive in problem resolution by understanding program goals, tradeoffs and schedules. Conduct reviews during the manufacturing cycle to identify issues, develop work around plans to mitigate risk and to implement process improvements. Coordinate shipping information with Program Manager and communicate to packaging/shipping organization. Coordinate make/buy policy and support implementation plans. Participate in proposal preparation for new business and for scope changes on existing programs.In this role you will be responsible for:
- The successful execution of assigned programs specifically meeting quality, schedule and cost targets.
- Working across LM Canada teams including factory operations, program office, sourcing; and will ensure intra-LM/RMS scope is executed.
- Supporting reporting and presenting production status at required program meetings.
- Earned Value Management responsibility entailing development of baselines, support plans, and recovery plans as required.
- Strong analytical and organization skills with ability to multi-task.
- Strong relationship building skills with focus on customer.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to gather, use, communicate with data. Use of data to make decisions and take action.
- Must be able to use Power Point, Excel.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. This requires Canadian citizenship.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the areas of production, operations, logistics, supply chain management, and / or manufacturing.
- Post-secondary education in manufacturing related disciplines such as manufacturing / industrial / mechanical engineering, engineering technology, production, operations, logistics, and / or supply chain management is considered an asset.
- Formal Project Management training such as PMP is considered an asset.
- Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt training / certification is considered an asset.
- Control Account Manager (CAM) training and certified or equivalent Earned Value Management experience is desirable.
- SAP experience is a plus.
