Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off (Note: Schedule subject to change to meet project timeline)Duration of Position: Term of project (Approximately 2 months)Hours Per Day: 12Accommodations: Camp accommodation provided.Project Scope: Renovation of camp dorm roomsTrade / Scope Specific project responsibilities, including, but not limited to: * Construction, repair, and installation of new and replacement camp dorm room infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  • Communication regarding construction, repair, and installation of camp dorm room infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  • Documentation of construction, repair, and installation of camp dorm room infrastructure, equipment, and related components.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Capable of safely lifting and transporting materials weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Follow safety guidelines, approved processes and procedures on the job site.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
  • Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.
  • Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.
General Certifications Required: * Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Carpenter Journeyman Certificate
General Safety Certifications Required: * H2S Alive
  • CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS
  • Fall Protection
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
