About Our Client
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams.About the Opportunity
Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Review and reconcile supplier statements, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Code, enter, and reconcile invoices and credits.
  • Prepare cheque runs and provide suppliers with remittance advice.
  • Maintain an organized AP filing system.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Receive and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts.
  • Track outstanding balances and monitor delinquent accounts.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and issue adjustments.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue balances and support collection efforts.
  • Respond to billing inquiries and maintain AR records.
About You
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in handling transactions.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving mindset to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
  • Solid math skills for calculations related to invoices, payments, and balances.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
