- Craft photo-realistic hard surface & organic models with an emphasis on architecture assets.
- Develop new textures and materials under the guidance of the 3D Art Lead.
- Create real-time destruction effects using a mastery of high-quality modeling, texture and shader creation.
- Photo scan objects and refine and polish meshes for engine integration.
- Contribute to and help maintain workflow and pipeline documentation pages on Confluence.
- Mastery of Autodesk Maya to create high quality 3D assets with clean topology and strong attention to detail.
- Mastery of texture & shader creation suites like Substance Painter, Photoshop and Mari to create realistic textures and materials.
- Strong proficiency with UV mapping & texture projection, specifically the UDIM workflow.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Physically Based Rendering (PBR) pipeline and photogrammetry scanning process.
- Ability to adhere to strict performance budgets by optimizing assets with heavy tri-counts.
- Experience with SideFX Houdini, particularly particle & dynamic sim creation and integration into a real-time environment.
- Experience with procedural modeling and fracturing techniques.
- Familiarity with vertex animated texture pipelines
