What it’s like to be a Northbridge Claims Technical Specialist, Property:As a Senior Claims Technical Specialist, Property, you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye on detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind.Our Senior Claims Technical Specialist are responsible for providing efficient and prompt investigation, assessing coverage liability, and damages while working directly with third parties and counsel to drive the claim to conclusion.We want your talentIf you are great at:Adjudicating complex claimsConfirming coverage and completing investigationPreparing file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, and reinsuranceManaging stressful calls and clearly deliver decisions on claimsProvide training to new hires through job shadowing sessionsSupport and mentor other adjusters on the teamEffectively managing a busy day to day scheduleProviding a great Customer experienceAnd you have:Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related programCurrent or working towards the CIP designationA minimum of 10 years of liability claim handling experienceExperience with commercial lines an assetStrong technical skills with MS Office SuiteAbility to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal CounselWho we are:We’re Northbridge Financial.
