On behalf of our Mining Industry Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a SAP S/4HANA Trainer: Multi-Module ERP Implementation to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is Primarily Onsite and the Client is based in Sparwood, BC.Summary of the Role
This role is responsible for delivering hands-on, role-based SAP S/4HANA training to both office staff and frontline users. The Trainer will support system adoption by facilitating classroom and virtual sessions, reinforcing cross-functional integration, and providing on-the-ground support during go-live. The position spans multiple modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Project Systems, and Asset Management within a large-scale ERP transformation.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions for SAP S/4HANA across various user groups
  • Review and provide input on training materials to align with business processes
  • Conduct pre-training awareness sessions, demos, and system familiarization activities
  • Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions
  • Reinforce integration points across SAP modules and business functions
  • Provide go-live and hypercare support, including on-the-floor user assistance
  • Support frontline users in adopting new system workflows and processes
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure training aligns with implementation timelines
  • Deliver module-specific training in areas such as Finance, Warehouse Management, Project Systems, or Asset Management
Core Requirements
  • Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA training in an enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of at least one SAP module (FI/CO, EWM, PS, or EAM)
  • Experience facilitating training for both technical and non-technical users
  • Hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations or system rollouts
  • Experience delivering training in onsite, operational, or industrial environments
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs
  • Familiarity with mining, industrial, or resource sector environments
  • Experience delivering training across multiple SAP modules
  • Knowledge of system integration points across SAP functional areas
  • Experience supporting go-live and hypercare phases
Terms
This is a 5-month contract engagement running from May to October 2026. The role is primarily onsite in Sparwood, BC, with full-time onsite presence required for most modules to support frontline operations and training delivery. The engagement follows a structured lifecycle including preparation, awareness sessions, training delivery, and post-go-live support. Candidates must be available to travel and remain onsite for the duration of the assignment.
