This role leads high-impact sourcing activities, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, while managing procurement efforts across the full lifecycle. Operating in a global scope with approximately 10% travel, the position focuses on delivering cost efficiencies, enhancing supplier performance, and aligning procurement strategies with broader business objectives. The role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.RESPONSIBILITYLead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and execute cost optimization opportunities across categoriesSource, evaluate, and onboard high-performing global suppliersCommunicate effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and senior leadershipAnalyze market trends and conduct external research to inform procurement strategiesDevelop deep expertise in supply markets, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologiesDesign and implement commodity and supply chain strategies aligned with business goalsPartner with Engineering and R&D to support innovation and new technology requirementsNegotiate and manage supplier contracts to maximize value and mitigate riskBuild and sustain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term performanceProvide guidance, mentorship, and support to Procurement Specialists and cross-functional teamsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)8–10 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or related consulting/advisory rolesExperience in supplier development, performance management, and risk mitigationStrong background in both direct and indirect procurement within a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience leading high-performing teams or projectsProject management experience; PMP certification is an assetHands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similarStrong organizational and prioritization skills in dynamic environmentsAdvanced analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation capabilitiesProven ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across all organizational levelsPosition Status: Existing VacancyThis job posting reflects a current vacancy within the organization.
