Clinic Secretary – CasualJob descriptionKey Responsibilities:Complete administrative tasks including chart preparation, booking appointments, managing phone lines and other administrative tasks as neededProcess patient referrals and follow up appointments in a timely mannerProficiently respond to all communications including phone calls and emailsProvide face to face patient support in our outpatient clinicsSupport nursing staff and physicians with triaging of patient appointments based on patients' needsSupport clinic flow by coordinating on-site and virtual appointmentsParticipate in Quality Improvement InitiativesExperience with front-line/patient facing health care clinic administrative work is essentialThe Requirements:Medical office experience is essentialPrevious experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) required. - Telus Practice Solutions (PSS) EMR is an asset.Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skillsProficient in MS Office Suite and an aptitude for adapting to new software and IT systemsSound knowledge of medical terminologyExceptional patient service skillsExperience working with multi-disciplinary teamsAbility to manage patient confidentiality at all timesWe offer a great team based working environment with opportunities to let your excellence shine!
