We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Underground Services team.This role is essential in managing the successful execution of underground construction projects—ensuring compliance with safety regulations, meeting client expectations, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimating, planning, execution, and closeout of underground construction projects.
- Develop project scopes and objectives with a strong focus on accuracy, feasibility, and relevance.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to meet contractual commitments.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Oversee on-site operations, ensuring adherence to safety programs and procedures.
- Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures.
- Manage contract financial reporting, including tracking project revenue, monitoring costs, and ensuring financial performance targets are met.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including reports, logs, and records.
- Consistently deliver projects that meet quality standards, timelines, and budget targets.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically in underground construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills—able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven problem-solving ability and capacity to perform under pressure.
- Proficiency with project/construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in estimating software and budget preparation.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- PMP designation or equivalent certification considered an asset.
