Mission
We're looking for an electrical supervisor to join our team, which has been constantly innovating in mobility engineering for over twenty-five years. You will be involved in large-scale monitoring and inspection work on everything to do with intelligent transport and transport electronics, such as traffic lights and road lighting, for the City of Montreal.Main responsibilities:
  • To start the project by validating the quantities in the tender schedule, filling in the Excel calculation files, taking photos of important elements, obtaining the EMSB permit, preparing and checking the list of shop drawings and attending the start-up meeting.
  • Validate the conformity of the work (plates and bells) on site, the materials installed on site, the monthly statements for electrical quantities submitted by the contractor and the allocation of conduits completed by the contractor followed by the supervisor
  • Note down the bases installed as and when required, and the progress of the worksite on the plans
  • Jointly mandrel the conduits with the civil contractor and complete the Excel file for calculating the lengths of ER + FC cables
  • Completing the HQ connection follow-up report Excel file, the daily report, the controlled expenditure report and the FC project closure form Dominic NEW
  • Assist MOE until completion
  • Set up intelligent nodes for lighting and complete Excel file for intelligent nodes
  • Finish the project by closing the CSEM permits, do the final accounting, validate the plans, follow up on the HQ connections and the correction of deficiencies and give the acceptance of the FC and ER inspection form.

  • DEC in electrical or civil engineering or equivalent training (welcome to new graduates)
  • Computer skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows
  • Fluency in written and spoken French
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
