The machinist is responsible for machining precision parts from technical drawings, using CNC lathes and/or milling machines. They directly contribute to the quality, compliance, and performance of manufactured products while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements.Main roles and responsibilities:Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications.Machine precision parts using CNC lathes and milling machines (DMG Mori).Select appropriate cutting tools, machining parameters, and setups.Make adjustments, settings, and start-ups of machines.Check dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).Ensure compliance with quality requirements and document inspection results.Identify and report any non-conformity or anomaly.Perform basic maintenance on machines and keep the workstation clean and safe.Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE).Collaborate with engineers, quality, and production to optimize processes.Participate in the packaging, labeling, and handling of parts and components.Prepare orders for shipment and manage the receipt of goods.Verify delivery slips and product compliance.Load and unload trucks safely.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE).Job RequirementsProfessional Studies Diploma (DEP) in machining techniques or equivalent.Relevant experience in machining precision parts.Ability to read and interpret technical plans.Proficiency with measuring instruments and tight tolerances.Knowledge of metallic materials (steel, stainless steel, alloys, etc.).Attention to detail, rigor, and sense of responsibility.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of HSE standards in a manufacturing environment.3 weeks of vacation, 5 paid personal days, and 5 additional days during the holiday seasonPossibility to work 4x10 hours from Monday to Thursday or 5x8 hours from Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-time, PermanentCompensation: $26.00 to $38.00 per hourBenefits:Dental InsuranceSupplemental Health InsuranceLife InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffJob Location: On-site
