- Conduct credit reviews of existing Members and maintain annual reviews/renewals at or below targeted levels.
- Assist with assessment of micro loan applications (up to $50,000) and unsecured loans and lines of credit including due diligence and research and make recommendations that adhere to DUCA's policies and risk guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to facilitate the on-going management of credit facilities.
- Generate referrals for more complex needs to appropriate Business Banking or Commercial team members.
- Monitor the Judi AI loan queue daily and ensure applications are routed to the appropriate workflow stages in a timely manner.
- Help in the internal management of Judi AI including job aids, workflow and testing enhancements within the platform.
- Communicate with Business Lending clients on a day-to-day basis, responding to questions and inquiries regarding products, services and advice.
- Assist with portfolio management duties and other day-to-day duties.
- Facilitate applications through funding by liaising with internal partners and Members.
- Adhere to compliance and audit guidelines in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Organize and maintain shared files.
- Organize and maintain Business Banking space on DUCA's intranet.
- Assist in Account Opening as required.
- Monitor the shared email inboxes for Business Banking; addressing, vetting, assigning incoming emails.
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics or related discipline is considered an asset.
- 2-4 years' experience in financial services with prior experience interacting with small business (business banking) clients or business activities.
- Previous experience in credit writing.
- Previous experience and/or understanding of financial statement analysis.
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and working to become a Business Banking Account Manager.
- Passionate about providing excellent Member service and helping others to achieve their goals.
