- Responsible for the setting up and safe operation of the pulverizing machine
- Receive and relay information from/to the Supervisor daily
- Record accurate measurements of pulverized area in meters squared (m2) per road
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and requirements to maintain Certificate of Recognition (COR)
- Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and condition of vehicles daily (inspect tires, lights, brakes etc.) as per Miller standards
- Maintain site cleanliness
- Maintain the Pulverizer equipment as required (training provided)
- Assist on ordering fuel delivery and organizing float requirements
- Heavy equipment experience, an asset (Willing to train)
- Valid class 5 driver's licence and driver's abstract meeting Miller expectations
- Basic computer knowledge and mathematical skills, tablet experience an asset
- Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 23 kg
- Ability to plan and organize job tasks on site
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, nights, weekends & holidays, and overtime; travel is required
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and work well with others
- Mechanically inclined, perform routine maintenance on equipment (holders and teeth)
