- Providing project technical leadership role with a team in the preparation of designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents, as well as participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection as required.
- Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases.
- Regular communications with clients to confirm expectations throughout all project phases.
- Delivering projects within identified schedules.
- Mentoring and coaching a team of engineers and technologists.
- Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution, with key transportation electives or transportation project experience.
- 15+ years of progressive transportation experience.
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to travel within Alberta.
