Job #5013 - We are recruiting a Business Finance Manager for our client, a leading North American healthcare and consumer products manufacturer. Reporting to the CFO, this role supports key projects and decision-making in a regulated environment, acting as a strategic partner to operational and functional leaders by connecting finance with business operations. You will guide budgeting, track performance, and turn financial goals into actionable insights that drive cost efficiency, operational excellence, and business growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong business-partnering mindset, with the ability to influence and drive decisions without direct authority. You can explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance leaders, take a structured and analytical approach to problem solving and are passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence. In this role, you will:
  • Act as the go-to finance partner for assigned business units, helping leaders evaluate initiatives, capital requests and projects
  • Provide clear, fact-based financial analysis and translate high-level financial goals into actionable operational drivers
  • Support teams in building realistic budgets, ensure cost centers are accountable and aligned with corporate targets
  • Monitor budgets vs actuals, identify variances and work with leaders to address issues
  • Drive cost reduction, productivity, and efficiency initiatives while promoting financial discipline
  • Identify inefficiencies, process gaps, and opportunities for savings
  • Track results and embed financial metrics into operational dashboards
  • Provide financial oversight for key projects, new launches, capacity expansions, and digital initiatives
  • Maintain budgets, track ROI, and document financial risks

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Completed CPA designation is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, business finance, or operational finance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, manufacturing, or regulated industries is considered a strong asset
