Coordinator - Paint Line

Job Category: SG&AJob Description:Job Title: Paint Line Coordinator (Burn Off)Job Summary:Under general supervision, this role ensures paint windows are properly burned off, cleaned, inspected, and returned to service to support high-quality finishing of scissor lift components.Responsibility:
  • Remove paint windows from the production line as scheduled or required
  • Perform burn-off procedures to remove accumulated powder coating safely and effectively
  • Operate burn-off ovens and related equipment according to company procedures
  • Inspect windows after burn-off to ensure complete removal of coating buildup
  • Identify and report damage, warping, or structural concerns
  • Reinstall clean paint windows into the paint line
  • Operator future paint burn off oven on a daily basis
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance cycles and burn-off schedules
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use
  • Assist with general paint line maintenance and housekeeping as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve paint transfer efficiency and reduce defects
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Academic/Educational Requirements:
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • One year of related training and/or experience
  • Ability to use computer applications to communicate and record information as required. Experience with Excel is considered an asset.
  • Possess problem solving skills to resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to perform and make decisions under pressure
  • Strong multitasking capabilities. Updating documentation and directing employees while maintaining cooperation and build rates.
  • Ability to work with others. Direct a team to get materials ready so that they may be moved out efficiently.
  • Ability to appropriately analyze, prioritize and consolidate information that is provided from various sources.
  • Strong written and oral communication. Delegate tasks and provide information to various personnel plant wide.
  • Ongoing learning to maintain a current knowledge of equipment technology, electronics and safety. Participate in training where applicable.
