- You have strong technical expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365), hybrid cloud environments, and identity management (Entra ID/Active Directory)
- You are proficient in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and Windows Server administration for enterprise and plant operations
- You have knowledge of cloud-based integrations with ERP/MRP platforms, EDI systems, and SQL databases to support manufacturing workflows
- You are skilled in cybersecurity for hybrid IT/OT environments, including layered defenses, incident response, and compliance
- You have experience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, and automation solutions that ensure uptime in production environments
- You have the ability to align IT strategy with plant operations by leveraging cloud services for scalability, data visibility, and analytics
- You have 5+ years of IT infrastructure and operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- You have a proven track record in security implementation, cloud adoption, and policy development
- You have experience supporting ERP/MRP platforms, EDI workflows, and SQL database environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting both business and production systems
- Knowledge of OT networking, PLCs, SCADA, and secure industrial connectivity
- Exposure to SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or similar)
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, ITIL Foundation, or CISSP
- Oversee IT infrastructure including cloud virtualization, storage, networking, and server environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyper-V/VMware)
- Develop and monitor KPIs for infrastructure health, service desk response, and SLA adherence
- Maintain IT policies, documentation, patching standards, asset management, and change controls
- Lead and mentor the IT support team, including Support Lead and Technicians
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across all support interactions
- Own daily EDI operations, troubleshooting, and improvement efforts
- Manage relationships with our EDI provider and coordinate integrations with customers, 3PLs, and suppliers
- Take initiative on system improvement projects, automation opportunities, and business continuity planning
- Understand how information flows through ERP/MRP systems and SQL databases to support data-driven decision-making
- Provide IT support for production technologies, including PLCs, SCADA, and industrial PCs
- Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve plant floor data flow and connectivity issues
- Implement and manage layered security controls across endpoints, servers, and cloud systems
- Assist with audits and regulatory compliance related to data protection and IT security frameworks
- Manage vendor contracts and maintain effective relationships with hardware, software, and cloud service providers

- Other office location: We have 6 locations within the Abbotsford area that require IT support from time to time
