- Manage all aspects of building science projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are met
- Conduct energy modeling and building envelope assessments to optimize building performance
- Oversee the implementation of sustainable building practices and energy-efficient technologies
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, including technical analyses and recommendations
- Identify and resolve project issues promptly, minimizing potential impacts on project outcomes
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in building science and sustainable construction
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP).
- Building Science certification (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP).
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in building science or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction or renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, energy efficiency, and sustainability principles.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction materials and methods.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time management skills.
