In this role, you will lead and oversee complex building science projects, ensuring the successful integration of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in construction and renovation endeavors.

Manage all aspects of building science projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are met
Conduct energy modeling and building envelope assessments to optimize building performance
Oversee the implementation of sustainable building practices and energy-efficient technologies
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Prepare and present detailed project reports, including technical analyses and recommendations
Identify and resolve project issues promptly, minimizing potential impacts on project outcomes
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in building science and sustainable construction

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP).
Building Science certification (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP).
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in building science or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction or renovation projects.
Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, energy efficiency, and sustainability principles.
Proficiency in energy modeling software and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction materials and methods.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time management skills.
