Job DescriptionAramark is seeking Cooks for Camp Vimy, Valcartier BasePosition: CookLocation: Camp Vimy, Valcartier BaseSalary: To be discussed during the interviewSchedule: Full-time and part-time positions availableStart Date: Early May 2026 (summer employment – May, June, July, and August)Public transportation does not reach the site. Applicants must plan their own transportation to the military base. Carpooling may be possible after hiring.Job Responsibilities

Assist the Chef in preparing the daily menu
Cook and prepare various food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes
Carry out the cooking and finishing of dishes
Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items
Participate in meal services
Ensure high food service quality and customer satisfaction
Optimize food and labor costs
Ensure compliance with management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
Be able to respond to operational needs
Perform any other related duties as required

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations
Demonstrate rigor and method in daily work
MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate (an asset)
Ability to work as part of a team
Autonomy in performing tasks
Positive attitude
Strong customer service orientation
