Description :PROFILEWe are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support a major enterprise data transformation initiative. This role will contribute directly to data normalization, transformation, and consolidation efforts as we bring together multiple data sources into a centralized data warehouse. The position is well suited for students interested in software development, data engineering, or data science, and who want hands-on exposure to real-world enterprise data challenges.This role will add value by assisting with data transformations, validating outputs, and supporting early visualization and reporting needs as the project progresses.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with data exploration, profiling, cleaning, and transformation activities
  • Support data normalization and consolidation across multiple source systems
  • Help design and validate transformation logic and business rules
  • Run SQL queries and Excel-based analyses to validate transformed data
  • Document data sources, mappings, and transformation logic
  • Assist with testing and quality assurance of data pipeline outputs
  • Support development of basic visualizations or reports as needs emerge
  • Participate in project meetings to understand requirements and priorities
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with datasets
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases (coursework acceptable)
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or similar)
  • Interest in data engineering, data science, or software development
  • Understanding of how data is structured, transformed, and prepared for analytics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language for data analysis
  • Exposure to ETL, data pipelines, or data transformation concepts
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms or Microsoft Fabric
  • Expose or experience in business processes and terminology
