- Collaborate with Business and Product teams to enable valuable Analytics and Machine Learning use cases
- Design and implement DataOps and MLOps processes and automations using the latest tools to effectively operationalize Analytics and AI workflows
- Provision infrastructure and secure, reliable data-centric services and applications in the Cloud for Data & Analytics users across the TELUS enterprise
- Identify opportunities to make substantial improvements to the deployment and support of our DataOps environment demonstrating a DevOps mindset while improving our reliability and speed to market
- Foster internal and external stakeholder relationships, including building highly collaborative relationships with business product teams and technical teams
- Stay up to date of new software, tools, and organizations that are having an impact on the Analytics and Machine Learning landscape
- You are passionate about Agile culture and DevOps practices
- You have a keen interest in Data Analytics and Machine Learning, and are familiar with the machine learning life cycle
- Considerable experience with the data offerings in Google Cloud Platform (e.g. BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Vertex AI)
- Considerable experience with GitOps, Kubernetes, and Containerization/Docker.
- You have experience in implementing CI/CD processes and integrating source code version control (e.g. GitHub) with automated workflows.
- You have hands on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi) and the Python programming language
- You are a skilled relationship builder and skilled at prioritization, negotiation and influencing
- You can communicate clearly and effectively in both technical and business matters, and are able to translate technical considerations into business implications
- You can pivot between supporting the urgent needs of the business and working on strategic initiatives
- You have experience working on and supporting large, complex technical projects that involve multiple stakeholders and business units
- Undergrad in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive and relevant work experience with data/analytics platforms, DevOps, and/or machine learning
- GCP Professional Certification
