They empower self-care, prevent and treat diseases, and help people live better.Sanofi Canada operations focus on four therapeutic areas: General Medicines (diabetes, cardiovascular, arthritis, transplant, and thyroid cancer); Specialty Care (rare diseases, rare blood disorders, oncology, immunology, multiple sclerosis); Vaccines (manufactures, formulates, fills, inspects and/or packages vaccines and biologics, protecting against 20 infectious diseases including pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus and influenza); and Consumer Healthcare (pain care, allergy, digestive health, personal care).Position Summary:Reporting to the People Excellence Partner Lead, the People Excellence Partner will be responsible for collaborating with People Business Partners, People Excellence Specialists, COE Partners, and People Services to support the employees and managers of the region. This role will focus on delivering foundational People & Culture (P&C) excellence and enhancing the employee experience through employee centered initiatives, core P&C processes, and enabling self-service.The person hired for this position must embody and effectively demonstrate the Sanofi Play to WinBehaviors – Think Sanofi First, Take Action, Stretch, Act for Patients and Customers.Key Responsibilities:Independently guide & coach employees and managers through core P&C processes, such as year-end performance. assessments/compensation planning, talent cycle, talent acquisition practices & employee relations matters including investigations &/or performance management.Actively partner with People Business Partners to develop plans for implementation and communication of key P&C processes including compensation, talent management, performance management, leadership development and workforce planning.Partner with the business on compensation topics such as grading positions, salary analyses, job offers; engage COE Partners & People Business Partners as needed.Support operational components of large organizational changes with People Business partners (such as Reductions in Force &/or Expansions).Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops & process improvement initiatives with People Business Partners, COE Partners & People Services.Serve as a client resource for Workday transactions, notifications, and approvals.Operate in an agile environment to support people-related projects that support the business of North America.Proactively encourage all managers and employees to utilize Employee/Manager self-service and One Support.Support specific analytical needs of People Business Partners &/or the business.Support Merger & Acquisition/Divestiture activities in the region.Key Requirements:Required Qualifications:Prior experience in an HR role with client facing responsibilities, guiding and coaching employees and managers through core HR processes.Working knowledge of Human Resources policies & procedures and the Canadian legal environment, and operational pull through of People & Culture initiatives.Ability to work independently with sound judgment and decisions making skills.Ability to take initiative, demonstrate a sense of urgency and flex in a fast-paced environment.Strong verbal & written communication & presentation skills in both French and English.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a highly matrixed/globally aligned organization.Data & analytical capabilities.Pursue ProgressDiscover ExtraordinaryBetter is out there.
