About the CompanyOur client is a precious metal refinery and bullion manufacturer. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team!Why Work HereHigh ownership, high visibility roleCross-functional exposure with senior stakeholdersNew role, opportunity to build out/ create processes within the FPA teamAbout the OpportunityPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for managementPerform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods; identify key drivers and trendsPartner with business stakeholders to understand underlying causes and validate assumptionsUpdate periodic forecasts, incorporating actual results, business assumptions, and outlook changesAssist in the annual budgeting and long range planning processesDevelop and maintain financial models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysisAssist in building, maintaining, and improving product cost modelsAnalyze material, labor, overhead, and other cost componentsSupport cost updates, standard cost reviews, and margin analysisPartner with Operations and Accounting to ensure cost accuracy and transparencyConduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses in support of management requestsSupport annual insurance renewal processSupport special projects, acquisitions, integrations, or transformation initiativesIdentify and implement improvements to financial models, reporting tools, and processesEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across financial systemsAssist in developing standardized reporting and best practices across the organizationAbout YouCPA designation4+ years FP&A experienceExperience in costing & supporting analysisStrong modelling (ie.
