- Assist in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify areas for process enhancements
- Assist in designing, testing, and implementing process modifications or new production methods
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Support equipment layout optimization, workflow analysis, and process documentation
- Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects
- Document findings and present recommendations to engineering and leadership teams
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma (preferred, but not required)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
