Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking two Senior Specialized IT Consultant to serve as Lead, Data Engineers supporting the Registry backlog remediation initiative. Public Sector Client and Provincial Provider Registry (PPR) are foundational components of Electronic Health Record (EHR). These registries leverage IBM Master Data Management (MDM) software to match and link records, generate unique identities, and maintain accurate and current “Golden Records” used across the healthcare ecosystem.ScopeApplication support, analysis, and remediationJava-based development and maintenance of registry solutionsCreating new services and optimizing existing onesSupporting root cause analysis and resolution planning.Assignment DeliverablesDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration components.Contribute to AWS-based initiatives, including cloud service setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, defects, and system stability issues.Create and maintain technical documentation, including system changes, architecture notes, and support materials.Expertise RequiredMust Have:3-4 years of application support experience (issue analysis, remediation, documentation)4-5 years of Java development experience including JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring4-5 years with IBM InfoSphere MDM Identity Hub (Initiate)4-5 years developing SOAP/REST servicesStrong understanding of SDLC and QA processes3-4 years with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)2 years container-based development (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)Experience with PKI, WS-Security, WS-Policy, WS- standards*Experience with AWS (cloud, networking, administration)Experience with HL7 / FHIR messagingNice to Have:Proven Java development and application design backgroundAbility to adapt to tight deadlines and shifting priorities.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
