You will play a vital role in fostering an engaging, supportive environment for our team members while ensuring HR policies and practices align with legal and organizational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: create job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate onboarding.
  • Ensure timely processing of new hire documentation and orientation.
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Act as a trusted liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and recognition activities in partnership with department leaders.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Conduct or coordinate exit interviews and provide feedback to management on turnover trends.
Training & Development
  • Organize and facilitate staff training sessions (customer service, compliance, policies).
  • Support performance management processes, including probationary reviews, appraisals, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with company-wide HR and training teams on corporate initiatives and programs.
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including contracts, work permits, and visas.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration; provide support to employees on HR, benefits, and policy inquiries.
  • Prepare HR-related reports, metrics, and dashboards for management.
  • Support HR audits and participate in compliance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards, human rights, health & safety legislation, and company policies.
  • Support workplace health, safety, and wellness initiatives, including reporting and compliance activities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, ideally in hospitality.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • High degree of professionalism, resourcefulness, and initiative.
Working Conditions
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • On-site role within the hotel office environment, with regular staff and management interaction.
  • Extended periods of computer use, sitting, and standing.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support recruitment or training initiatives.
