We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionWhat you're responsible for:

Work closely with shipping/inventory team to provide appropriate escalation of issues then quickly resolve issues in the most efficient manner.
Communicate and coordinate with maritime shipping lines, freight forwarder, truckers, shipping yards, make the appropriate booking according to the terms of sales contracts.
Handle bookings according to contractual shipping requirements (Incoterm, packaging, weight restrictions, container size etc.)
Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, e-manifesting, Bills of Lading and freight invoices.
Prepare and approve export related shipping documents, confirm accuracy and perform data input.
Obtain the loading pictures on all shipments, provide to customers upon request
Create B13/AES export Declaration for Canadian/US exports.
Save digital copy of relevant correspondence and documents.
Handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions, overseas offices, customers and transport service providers.
Perform other related duties as may be required.

QualificationsTo join our team:

You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or handling FCL/LCL Ocean export.
You have knowledge of export regulations, CAED/AES, full understanding of Incoterms
You have the ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel.
You have organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control).
You have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate current situation, respond quickly to changing requirements, and execute accordingly.
You have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
You are able to work independently while also collaborating effectively as a team player.
You have good verbal and writing skills: French and English
You have post-secondary education, preferably in business, transportation, logistics management, which is considered an asset.
