Plant Manager - Manufacturing Leadership Opportunity (Stayner, ON area)Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, building engaged teams, and delivering results? We're looking for a Plant Manager to lead production at a high-performing facility in the automotive manufacturing sector.In this role, you'll be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Plant, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met, while inspiring a workforce to achieve their full potential. You'll also take ownership of production, cost management, and process improvements that directly impact customer satisfaction and long-term business success.What You'll DoChampion a safe, positive, and productive workplace aligned with OHSA and corporate safety standards.Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of glass manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality, and cost objectives.Drive continuous improvement through innovative production methods, process optimization, and equipment upgrades.Oversee plant financial performance, including operating budgets, cost control, and efficiency initiatives.Foster strong labour relations by handling grievances fairly and supporting effective bargaining strategies.Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a skilled, motivated, and high-performing team.Manage production scheduling, inventory, and plant operations with a focus on customer requirements.Collaborate with other facilities to share best practices and drive operational consistency.Present progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership on a monthly basis.What You BringBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing; flat glass or Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive supplier background is a strong asset.Exceptional leadership skills with a balance of strategic vision, emotional intelligence, and hands-on management.Demonstrated success in staff development, process management, scheduling, and inventory control.Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.Six Sigma Black Belt certification is an advantage.Why Join Us?
