As the HSE Manager, you will support the Director of Health, Safety & Environment in executing and continuously improving company-wide safety programs. You will provide technical guidance and coaching to Construction Safety Officers (CSOs) and project teams, ensure consistent implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS), and support incident management, training, compliance, and performance reporting.
- Location: Vancouver, BC (with travel to project sites across Canada & the U.S.)

- Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 base + extended health benefits + RRSP matching

- Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, safe work practices, and hazard assessments across all projects
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and professional oversight to CSOs and project teams
- Support consistent documentation, procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Assist projects in implementing safety programs and best practices
- Lead or support investigations into recordable incidents, serious near misses, and regulatory-reportable events
- Conduct root cause analyses and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed
- Ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and applicable U.S. safety regulations
- Develop, administer, and monitor safety training and onboarding programs
- Ensure employees maintain required certifications and qualifications
- Track safety training records and competency development, analyze safety metrics, audit findings, and incident trends
- Produce reports for senior leadership
- 7-10+ years of progressive HSE experience in construction environments, preferably with mid-to-large general contractors delivering high-rise or tower projects
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
- CSO (Construction Safety Officer) or NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) designation
- Strong knowledge of Canadian OHS legislation; exposure to U.S. OSHA regulations is a plus
- Professional safety designation (CRSP, CSP, CHSC, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience implementing and managing Safety Management Systems, incident management, training programs, and compliance
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel regularly to job sites
- Active Canadian and/or U.S. passport for cross-border travel
