In this customer-facing position, you will be the welcoming face of our shopping centre, ensuring every customer interaction is carried out in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. You'll play a vital role in delivering on JLL's mission of "continually striving to surprise and engage the consumer and retailer by consistently delivering a superior customer experience." This is an exciting opportunity to create memorable experiences while supporting both shoppers and retail partners in a vibrant shopping environment.What your day-to-day will look like:Proactively greet and assist customers at the Guest Services location, creating memorable interactions and providing excellent serviceMaintain comprehensive knowledge of the shopping centre's services, amenities, store locations, promotional activities, and available comfort toolsSell shopping centre gift cards, process transactions accurately, and balance sales at end of shiftInteract with shoppers and retailers in a courteous and efficient manner, both in person and over the telephoneProvide directions, answer questions, and offer gift or store suggestions based on shoppers' needs using current knowledge of merchandise, price points, and special eventsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, educating them about the centre's services and promotional opportunitiesParticipate in special projects and assume other duties as assigned by centre managementRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environmentSales experience including transaction management and cash handlingStrong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiencesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while maintaining high professionalismFlexible availability to work daytime shifts Monday through Friday and on weekendsUnderstanding of Crisis Management procedures and Guest Services role in emergency situationsPreferred Qualifications:Multilingual skills (additional languages beyond English)Conflict resolution and management skillsComputer proficiency in Excel and ChromeDemonstrated friendly, approachable, proactive, and solution-focused demeanorExperience working in a shopping centre or mall environmentEstimated compensation for this position:17,409.00 – 17,409.60 CAD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
