The Nutrition Associate assists in all areas of Food Service operation. Primary duties include but are not limited to collecting patient meal selections; tray assembly; nourishment, enteral feeding and formula preparation; meal and nourishment delivery to patients; tray collection; diet changes; dishwashing; cleaning and customer service.Qualifications * Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Demonstrated skills developed through experience in efficient, hygienic, cleaning techniques and knowledge of the food production system
  • Physically capable of carrying out duties which may include heavy lifting
  • Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility and to perform duties with minimal direct supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment by taking on both leader and follower roles as required, cooperating with the team objectives, and taking initiative to assist in the completion of tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbal and written and ability to communicate by initiating and communicating in a sensitive, thoughtful, and timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate
