We’re hiring in Guelph!Village Media, a community impact organization, is looking for an experienced community partner specialist to join us in supporting our news site.The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about helping to connect businesses with our large local audience.You are entrusted to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses, agencies or individuals and work with them to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services.What you will do:Develop and manage revenue-producing relationships with clients and agenciesProspect for new business using sales funnel techniquesAnalyze client marketing goals and develop needs-based solutions to achieve themManage and take responsibility for the schedule of deliverables and campaigns of each client, being primary point of contact and managing all customer care and serviceOversee campaign execution and analysisWork collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenueUse web analytics tools to understand sales opportunities and statistics required for sales presentationsWork cohesively with other Village Media staff both locally based and across the networkMinimum qualifications for the position include:A proven track record of sales successThe ability to work alone, and as part of a teamStrong presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIntegrityA hard-working, relationship-builder with a winning attitudeStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other Google applicationsA valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are requiredThe successful candidate must live in or near Guelph.This position frequently requires the successful candidate to meet and engage with clients at their place of business. Generally, hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm but there is sometimes a need to work in the evenings and on weekends, to attend events.If this is you, please apply!
